Q: Can you easily turn it on and off? If not, would it be easy to unplug? or does it continually run?
A: The solar panel is hard-wired to the fan. It cannot be turned on or off. If you spliced an on/off switch into the line, then you could turn the fan on and off. The fan runs continually during daylight, even on a cloudy day, but runs much more powerfully during a sunny day.
Q: Has anyone gauge the attic heat temperature reduction as a result of using this?
A: Have not measured the actual temp before and after. But it felt much cooler in the attic and the room below that section of the attic was 5 to 10 degrees cooler when I got home from work before turning on the AC
Q: Is this impossible to add a thermostat?
A: Yes, it works just fine.
Q: With a 25w solar panel and enough sunlight, is it possible for the fan to work at 3000 cfm?
A: No, with 25w solar panel will work at 1960 cfm
