A beautiful 1857 three cent silver piece graded MS 62 by NGC. It holds a sharp strike with some very attractive purple toning around the rims of each side. This gorgeous coin has been approved by CAC for quality.
This date holds a total mintage of 1,04,000. However, of this fairly large mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,500 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 38 graded Mint State 62 by NGC. It is one of only two approved by CAC in this grade level.
