Ford Distributor COAF 12127 D Vintage

Description

1960 Ford V8 Cars & Thunderbird distributor, pivoted breaker plate type, 352cid Ford engine, all transmission types with 4 bbl carburetor.
This distributor has received a thorough disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, polishing, lubricating and testing regiment. The following tests were performed on a Sun Distributor Machine and the distributor passed all tests successfully:

> breaker point lobe accuracy ✔︎
> mechanical (automatic) advance test ✔︎
> vacuum chamber diaphragm test ✔︎
> vacuum controlled breaker plate test ✔︎
> vacuum spark advance test ✔︎
The following parts were replaced with NOS parts  (1) vacuum canister, (2) condenser, (3) breaker points, (4) rotor, (5) distributor cap.  The bottom gear has been removed, inspected and reinstalled as it is in good condition.  The shaft has been removed, cleaned, lubricated and an inspection of the shaft indicates it is arrow straight.  Weights and springs operate within tolerances.  The distributor runs cool and functions according to manufacturer's specifications - see photo 5.
This distributor will arrive complete and ready to be installed.
