Vintage Ken Arensbak "lit-eyed" troll doll - large, 14 inches tall.  This bright-eyed beauty has an electrical cord that powers the ruby-red LED windows to her soul, which have been tested and are working.  The lit-eyed trolls in this size were discontinued in 2017.
A wonderful, handmade folk art piece crafted by the Arensbak family at 5 Arts Studio in Tennessee.  Ken Arensbak started making these trolls as gifts for friends in 1959.  He and his family later formed Five Arts Studio to produce them professionally.  They are still created using natural materials.
Bright-eyes is in very good condition for a troll of her age.  Her pinecone, seed pod, and nutshell embellishments have some cracks and chips; they get brittle with time.  I will pack her as best I can to prevent further damage, but due to the nature of the materials you may lose part of a pinecone or end up with a couple crushed seeds.  The good news is replacement parts can be gathered from wooded areas, purchased at craft stores, or, if you want to support the artisans, ordered from 5 Arts Studio's website.
